“Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food” Hippocrates
Naturopathic Nutritionist seeks to restore the whole body’s ability to restore balance, vital energy through changes in diet, lifestyles, correcting nutritional deficiencies and naturopathic cleansing techniques. The body never works against us, I seek, dig deeper to identify and address the root cause of symptoms, not just suppressing the symptoms.
Hippocrates, often referred to as the “Father of Medicine,” had a holistic approach to health and wellness that included various methods for body cleansing and detoxification.
In Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy we don’t “treat” named diseases but help the body to get back to balance so that it can heal itself as much as it is able.
Nutritional Therapy in clinic
In-Clinic Nutritional Assessment
Your consultation includes an in-depth look at your health history, family background, current diet, and lifestyle. If food sensitivities or intolerances are suspected, kinesiology (muscle response testing) may be used.
You may be recommended supplements or remedies to follow for 4–6 weeks, followed by a reassessment to adjust the plan if needed.
Your Personalised Programme
After the consultation, a tailored plan will be created for you. This may include:
-
Specific supplements
-
Dietary and lifestyle adjustments
-
Naturopathic Nutritional Therapy
-
Emotional support techniques you can practice at home
We aim to identify and address the root causes of your symptoms—not just the surface-level issues.
Important Notes
-
Supplements don’t heal—your body does. Healing happens when your body gets what it needs and removes what it doesn’t.
-
Supplements are not medicines like blood pressure pills. They help repair functions disrupted by deficiency.
-
A Functional Medicine approach may be recommended if deeper investigation is needed, though this can be more costly.
-
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis is often suggested to identify key mineral imbalances—referred to as “the spark plugs of life.”
Ongoing Support
Naturopathic Nutrition focuses on long-term changes for lasting health. Many clients return for regular follow-ups to adjust their plan gradually as their body regains balance.
Whether you want a full consultation or just a short session for clarity, motivation, or supplement advice, support is available.
Final Thoughts
Supplements can help—but only when used with knowledge and care. Understanding ingredients, dosages, and potential allergens is vital.
As holistic nutritionists, we always prioritise a balanced, nourishing diet as the foundation of good health.
The number of sessions you may need depends on your individual journey, how long you’ve followed recommendations, and your commitment to change.
As we age, change can be more challenging—but with the right nutrition, movement, rest, and stress support, your body has the amazing ability to heal and thrive.
An in-clinic Nutritional Assessment involves an in-depth discussion of your history and family history, your diet, and your lifestyle.
This is followed by a Kinesiology Muscle response evaluation, appropriate supplements and Nutritional remedies for the next 4-6 weeks.

Hair Tissue Mineral analysis
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) testing
- A hair sample is used to evaluate its mineral content
- It is a window into the cell mineral activity
- Analysing hair tissue will bring to light toxicities and issues within the body.
It is a proven and effective way to assess the long-term metabolic function of the body as well as nutrient deficiencies and toxic metal levels. The true value of the test lies in gaining an understanding of the metabolic and glandular patterns and dysfunction that underlie all health conditions.
